With reference to your letter 34092/06 of the
21st September last I am directed by Secretary Sir E.
Grey to transmit to you herewith to be laid before
the Earl of Elgin the accompanying copies of an Order
of His Majesty in Council of February 11th last, enti-
tled The China and Corea (Amendment) Order in Council,
1907.
I am to invite attention to Articles 5 and 6, the

terms of which were agreed to in your letters 29879/06 Jam
of August 18th last and 34092/06 of September 21st
last respectively, and I am to request you to move Lord
Elgin to forward copies of the Order to the Governor
of HongKong for his information accompanied by such
instructions as His Lordship may think desirable.
